  1. Create a PR called bump_vX.X.X
  2. Run poe bump-version [patch/minor/major]
  3. Edit CHANGELOG.md
  4. Push the PR and complete it
  5. Checkout and pull master
  6. Apply a tag named vX.X.X to the version bump commit and push it to origin
  7. Go to GitHub Actions and make sure the release action runs correctly
  8. Check a version was created in https://pypi.org/
