General bugs with the PSoC

The project needs to be located in a folder with :
- The exact same name
- A suffix .cydsn
Example : if my project is named myProjLab1 it should be inside a folder called myProjLab1.cydsn.
There could be many reasons :
- You forgot to download/install the CY8CKIT-059 SDK for the
$\mu$ -controller, - You're not plugged on a functional USB port, or the USB câble is connected upside down (in that case the LEDs should be switched off). It might also be due to a false contact.
- If it worked fine before and then one day it doesn't, it might be due to a Windows update that uninstalled the drivers for the PSoC. In that case, you should see a warning symbol (
⚠️ ) next to the PSoC in the device manager. To address this, you should :- Right click on the device in the device_manager
- Update the drivers, but giving the local path for it (do not let Windows looking for drivers for you). The path should be something like C:/Program Files (x86)/Cypress/.
