work requests
Work Requests are generated by users to request maintenance support for an asset.
To create a request go to the work request page.
Fill out the fields. ID is a reference Id that can be anything. It is useful for finding assets using a company ID system.
Select an asset
Click the Action Button at the bottom of screen and submit.
Work Orders are generated from approved work Requests. Effectively a work request is converted into a work order when approved and planned.
To approve a work request go to the work management page. Select Open Requests and select the asset. If you don't know the asset select a location further up the tree.
If you approve the request then change the status accordingly. If the request requires more information then return the request with comments.
Click the Action Button at the bottom of screen and submit.
