minimalist and modern with a slide-in animation from the right for new messages, slide back out for oldest messages.
delay helps a lot since the new item rendering the dom automatically forces up all content immediately, which we will have trouble animating smoothly without js. At least this way, that instant slide up is totally done and mentally settled before the new item smoothly animates in

Howdy, @KenAKAFrosty! Sorry for the radio silence here — the main reason I hadn't pulled in the theme was because I haven't merged in the avatars code that's being used in here - and I wasn't ready to pull in those changes quite yet. I'll prioritize getting avatar support out the door, then I'll take another look at this theme! |
