CivCraft on Discord

Running the bot

• install python, download this source code, open a command line in the source directory
• install dependencies: python3 -m pip install --user -U https://github.com/Rapptz/discord.py/archive/rewrite.zip#egg=discord.py
• start the bot: python3 civcord/main.py your_bot_token_here
  • alternatively, set DISCORD_TOKEN environment variable (e.g. in bash: export DISCORD_TOKEN=your_bot_token_here)
• after a moment, you should see Logged in as (bot name) (bot id) in the terminal
