…or now rejectUnauthorized is set to false since I'm using a self-signed cert but this may become a setting in the future)

I've never done a pull request so forgive me opening and closing it by accident. On an other note I just saw that the AWS support was merged in, my code was based on the version prior to that so there are some merge conflicts. |

I've created a fork that added TLS support for my own use, that could be merged if you agree with the changes.
The only thing that probably should be changed (I think made into an option) is the "rejectUnauthorized".
