Crunchy Data announces the second beta release of the PostgreSQL Operator 4.6.0 on January 8, 2021.

Changes

  • The version of Prometheus reference in the Postgres Operator Metrics installation is now set to 2.24.0

Fixes

  • Fix issue that prevented PostgreSQL Pod readiness checks from succeed on OpenShift platforms. This was due to a change in 4.6.0 and does not affect earlier versions.
  • Allow for --service-type to be unset on pgo create pgbouncer
  • Update pgo-target permissions to match expectations for modern Kubernetes versions.
