To fix the issue, add a
permissionsblock at the root of the workflow file. Since the workflow only appears to require access to repository contents (e.g., for checking out code), the permissions can be restricted tocontents: read. This ensures that the workflow operates with the least privileges necessary to complete its tasks.The
