Summary

  • Rename security-scan.yml to leaked-secrets-scan.yml for consistency across repos
  • Rename workflow from "Security Scan" to "Leaked Secrets Scan"
  • Scan all pushes to main and all PRs (remove path filters for comprehensive coverage)
  • Change schedule from weekly to daily at 3 AM UTC (3-4 AM UK time)
  • Remove baseline-maintenance job (manual review preferred over auto-PRs)
  • Simplify workflow structure

Test plan

  • Verify workflow appears as "Leaked Secrets Scan" in Actions tab
  • Verify workflow triggers on PR creation
  • Verify scheduled run at 3 AM UTC
