Usage

Match Scouting

Fill out the following sections during each match:

  • Before Match: Event, Match Stage, Driver Station, Match #, Team #, Scout Name
  • Auto: Climb Level, Alliance Auto Points, Robot's Contribution, Fuel Missed, Balls Collected
  • Teleop: Alliance Teleop Points, Robot's Contribution, Fuel Missed, Traversal, Phase Roles, Fouls, Collaboration, Driving Skill
  • Endgame: Climb Level, Climb Speed, Disconnect
  • Notes: Important observations for strategy
  • Human Player: Fuel Missed/Scored, Actions, Notes

After the match, click "Save Match". The data is saved to the History tab and as a local CSV file. Sync the data to Google Sheets or have the Head Scout scan the QR code. Then delete the match from history.

Pit Scouting

Switch to the "Pit" tab and fill out all fields for each team:

  • Team Number, Climb Level, Height/Weight, Intake Type, Drive Mechanism, General Strategy, Features, Hopper Type & Capacity, Drive Experience, Build Quality, Outside Perimeter, Breakdowns, Notes

History

  • View all saved match and pit scout data
  • Click an entry to see its QR code
  • Click the edit button to modify or delete saved data

Troubleshooting

  • If saved data doesn't appear, refresh the History tab
  • For syncing issues, check your internet connection and try again in 30 seconds
  • Ensure screen brightness is at 100% if QR codes won't scan
  • If the wrong team was scouted, edit the team number in the History tab

Getting Help

First try restarting the app and verify you're on the latest version. If issues persist, contact Michael Tetelbaum or Algasem Zabarah on Slack or email.
