Towards release 2.0

Are there other show stoppers than those listed under the Milestone 2.0?

• Clemens reports about some logging issues where the log files grow until MerMEId is not responsive anymore. We'll need some more details, though.
• Release during MEC would be dufte ...

Ideas

• what about introducing an icon set? related to issues #80 and #68
  • maybe keep it simple as the current design needs a facelift anyway. So, stick with the current icons and add/replace tentatively.
• transfer Slack threads to GitHub discussions ("Q&A")
  • agreed to copy topics from the slack thread to Git discussions
  • Peter transfers the existing ones
  • we'll voluntell a monthly editor to take care of new Slack threads that qualify for "Q&A".

Open issues

• can issue #41 ("set up automated test") be closed? For now, we have implemented some frontend tests but will unlikely get to anything more in the near future …
