How to contribute to Atlas.

At the moment, we can use help in nearly every area of app development:

Geo-Communities and Sysadmins

If you would like to run an Atlas server of your own, please reach out to Ben for assistance. I'd love to help you get this configured on your own machines.

Front End Developers

Use your knowledge of HTML and Javascript to make the Atlas UI more accessible, beautiful, and functional. It's very easy to build and modify Atlas templates, and we'll work with you to help get you started.

Go Developers

Use your knowledge of Go to help improve core Emissary services. There are many more geo-services we still need to incorporate into the application server, and your help will be a deciding factor in what we can give the community.

Hosting Providers

If you run a hosting company, we would love to help pair you with communities looking to run their own Atlas servers.

Soon: Translators

If you speak multiple languages, you'll soon be able to help us translate Atlas into many languages. This area still depends on some improvements to Emissary's infrastructure, so we're not ready for this help just yet. But please reach out to let us know you're ready when we are. To start, we'd love to translate Atlas into Spanish, French, and Portuguese.

If you'd like to help, but can't spare the time, your sponsorship will help us to bring in others who can. All donations will go directly to the Emissary project, and will help us build the future of Atlas.
