ESSP Modules Registration Demo


Product description

  • This is a ESP8266 based relay module which is pre loaded to work with our software
  • This can connect to our android software and the relay can be controlled from Android phone from anywhere through internet
  • This is a cloud base application, so no static IP is required
  • You can download the application from Play Store. Please search for app Smart Access, Erratum Solutions in play store or scan the QR Code
  • Support only Android phones. Please make sure your phone support the software before buying product

Register Device

  • Connect your phone to internet, download application from Play Store [For Android Only]
  • Open Smart Access, read and accept the policies
  • Login using your google account. We use google authentication which require only your email address and name.
  • Once login is successful, you can register the device
  • Each device will have a unique Wi-Fi name [starting ESSP]. Your password is tryessplug
  • Connect to that WiFi and then start your android app on phone again
  • Now from the More options [3 vertical dots at top right] select Register Device and register
  • Next you will be redirected to WiFi settings page
  • There you can enter your local WiFi credentials [Wi-Fi Name and Password]
  • After successfully connected to internet, your device will be registered and you will receive a notification on your phone
  • Also you will notice your device Wi-Fi hotspot will be dissabled. You no longer require hotspot. You can now control your device over internet
  • If you accidently enter wrong Wi-Fi credentials, you can change it using Configure device option

Add Control

  • After successful device registration, you need to add a switch
  • Go to My Home from the navigation panel
  • Ensure you are in Design Mode, so that you can see Add Control in the More Options
  • If Add Control is disabled, then you need to enable Design Mode from Display Settings
  • Click Add Control and select Switch
  • You can noew see a new switch added with yello caption
  • Touch on it to edit the switch settings
  • You can give any cation, select the new registered device and click ok
  • Now from the More options click Save Layout and then disable Design mode
  • Note: You can chnage Design Mode using the lock icon at top right near to More Options
