Reason: I program my robot using my laptop which runs Ubuntu 24.04 and I would feel kindly that even though unofficially you can so that others who use even Linux in general for programming will feel more supported for the First Tech Challenge.

Hey there! Thanks for submitting this PR. Our concern for this PR is that if we say something is "supported", then the assumption is that we're going to provide support for it - which in this case Ubuntu isn't a supported operating system. It may work in some subset of situations (and that subset might be large or may be small, depending on a lot of factors) but we cannot designate it as supported.

This page also defines cross-program support, and we cannot make statements about cross-program support when none is explicitly provided.

Thank you for replying back, I will close this pull request and maybe once there is a larger population of FTC users and official support provided by First Tech Challenge I might create a new one...
