LifeHunter is an interactive and educational web platform designed to explore biodiversity through the 5 biological kingdoms and animal taxonomy.
This project aims to facilitate the learning of zoology and biology through a visual, modern, and easy-to-navigate interface.
The project was built using a Vanilla Stack (without heavy frameworks) to ensure maximum performance and core web fundamental compatibility:
- HTML5: Semantic content structure.
- CSS3: Responsive design, animations, and custom visual styles.
- JavaScript (ES6+): Interaction logic, dynamic navigation, and DOM manipulation.
- Kingdom Navigation: Dedicated sections for Animalia, Plantae, Fungi, Protista, and Monera.
- Taxonomic Cards: Detailed information about species and classifications.
- Immersive Interface: Use of visual effects to enhance the user learning experience.
This is a static website, so it does not require complex dependency installations.
- Clone the repository:
git clone [https://github.com/FabrizioTC06/lifehunter-web.git](https://github.com/FabrizioTC06/lifehunter-web.git)
- Navigate to the project folder.
- Open the
index.htmlfile in your preferred web browser.
Note: For a better development experience, using the "Live Server" extension in VS Code is recommended.
