📊 Project Overview

This project is based on a workshop attended through Jobaaj, where we were tasked with analyzing Walmart’s sales data and building a dynamic dashboard using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

Analyze the sales dataset provided by Walmart to derive key business insights, identify trends, and visually represent performance metrics through an interactive dashboard.

• Order Date
• Ship Date
• Customer Name
• Country, State, City
• Category
• Product Name
• Sales
• Quantity
• Profit

🛠️ Tools & Skills Used

• Microsoft Excel: For initial data cleaning, pivot tables, and preprocessing
• Power BI: For creating interactive dashboards and data visualizations
• Data Analysis: Filtering, sorting, identifying top products and customers, profit tracking, etc.
• Data Visualization: Bar charts, maps, KPIs, slicers, and trendlines

• Top-selling products by category and profit
• Most profitable states and cities
• Order trends by month and year
• High-volume and low-profit zones
• Order-to-ship duration insights
