in or out: visualizing twitter brexit preference using twitter location data.

Goal:

To produce a webpage that visualises (on a map?) twitter users preference for leaving the EU (#TakeControl #VoteLeave) or staying in (#StrongerIn) based on twitter location data.

Schedule:

June 2nd: short presentation

• background research - works you saw that influenced the team’s direction
• a detailed technical specification on the technologies you’re to use. For example, if you are doing data visualization, we’ll want to hear about:
  • the type of data you’re getting
  • the source
  • how you are getting it
  • how you process it
  • what technologies you use
  • a mockup/storyboard of your web app
• Expect to answer questions from your peers and us.
• Present as a team, rather than as individuals, but each team member should be able to contribute something distinct to the presentation, in support of a specific aspect of the project.
