I thought I'd help as some manual changes were required, could you merge #901 then?
Edit: and so far no PR exists to upgrade AGP, maybe there is something wrong with dependabot config?

AGP updates were disabled due to https://gitlab.com/fdroid/admin/-/issues/593. Will reenable soon.
