Refactor generic exception handling in DatabaseHandler#100
Refactor generic exception handling in DatabaseHandler#100
Conversation
Replaced generic 'catch (Exception e)' with specific checked exceptions: - ClassNotFoundException - InstantiationException - IllegalAccessException - SQLException This ensures that only expected initialization errors are handled by the database loader, while unexpected runtime exceptions are allowed to propagate. Replaced the generic 'catch (Exception e)' block in 'DatabaseHandler.createConnection' with specific checked exceptions (ClassNotFoundException, InstantiationException, IllegalAccessException, SQLException). This improves code health by clarifying expected failure modes and avoiding the suppression of unexpected runtime exceptions.
