Hey there, I'm Gary Wintle

Creative Developer · I design, illustrate, animate, and code.

Current design professional currently working on becomming a frontend dev. I really love bringing my illustrations and design to life with code! I work from original, pencil and paper sketches to vector illustration through Lottie animation to production React apps.

Currently Building

Dana Larsen's Personal Site — Vancouver-based drug policy reform activist, author, and founder of multiple harm reduction organizations. I'm making him an site using AstroJS as well as Decap for easy CMS.

Kofun — A gamified Pomodoro timer with a soul. Features original haniwa character art, AI-powered encouragement via Claude API, emotion-driven Lottie animations, and real-time weather-based environments. Built with React & Next.js.
