Just so we won't forget the funny ideas we had when we thought about this repository, here are some paths we may explore:
- list over more than one studies a common field, for example: study1-inclusion_date1, study2-inclusiondate2
- synchronize two studies for subjects; when a subject is created in study A, create the same subject in study B and copy field1 and field2
- import data from a an external source into a study
- collect the the values of two variables and based on that insert a value into castor, provided that the value is empty (sounds like a randomization?)
