Summary of Changes

Hello @fangyh20, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request updates the Python version associated with Dataproc runtime 3.0 from Python 3.11 to Python 3.12. This change ensures that the system's internal compatibility checks and user warnings accurately reflect the supported Python environment for Dataproc runtime 3.0, particularly for Python User Defined Functions (UDFs).

Highlights

  • Dataproc Runtime 3.0 Python Version Update: The internal mapping for Dataproc runtime 3.0 has been updated to correctly reflect its compatibility with Python 3.12, moving from the previously associated Python 3.11.
  • Unit Test Adjustments: Corresponding unit tests for Python version compatibility warnings have been modified to align with the new Dataproc runtime 3.0 Python 3.12 mapping. This includes changes to mocked Python versions and expected warning messages to ensure accurate validation.

Code Review

This pull request correctly updates the Python version mapping for Dataproc runtime 3.0 to Python 3.12 and updates the corresponding unit tests. The changes look good. I've added a couple of suggestions in the test file to improve maintainability by using variables for version numbers, which will make future updates easier.
