libpl and libcart should be merged in separate PRs (also submodules makes more sense (except for libcart but that issue should really be fixed in libcart, not here)) |

made it my own PR because i didnt want to deal with removing a submodule from #753
Test case was printing whether libpl was supported, and it worked as expected on PL and Ares
