Windows builds were failing because of invalid strings in the generated
properties.hfile, this was fixed by correcting the file generation steps in the CMakeLists.txt file. I also removed theproperties.hfile since it should be generated in build time, and added it to the gitignore to avoid accidentally adding it back in future commits.
