I wrote this up to automate some of the more tedious / error-prone parts of the sync procedure. Specifically it pulls the commits from the old repo, checks out a new sync branch, and lists the
git cherry-pick ...commands to run for each commit. It's sped up the process quite a bit for me! But I want to make sure it seems correct, useful, and clear to others as well.
