VS2013 Community Day
Inmeta Consulting and Microsoft Norway arranged a 4 hour Visual Studio 2013 Community event Sept. 12th. 2013, where the new features in VS 2013 and TFS 2013 were presented.
Session 1 was showing off the VS 2013 features that can make your development move faster and leaner, Lars J. Nilsson and Jakob Ehn.
Session 2 was a walk through the new features, with a special focus on Git in TFS 2013 and InRelease release management, by Terje Sandstrom, Jakob Ehn and Lars J. Nilsson.
We could not cover all the new features - time did not allow, so things like better Typescript support, XAML intellisense for WPF - including databinding, the very cool browser linking feature, was stuff left out. But don't despair : See this cool Channel9 video showing off this stuff and even some more, and even this one for the IDE enhancements.
