how to install it now in laravel 12?

I believe Laravel 12 has this functionality built in, though I'm not sure about feature parity.
For Laravel 11, since the maintainer appears to be inactive, I've created a fork here: https://github.com/koel/Laravel-Dotenv-Editor/
