Style-Aware mom LoRA Training on my Local Machine. This is a birthday present project for my ma. She wanted something that could quickly generate images in her style that she could use as references for drawing and painting. Her own AI mood-board.
- Generic "enhanced" training with better parameters but no style understanding. Went down a rabbit hole of tweaking parameters without addressing the core issue.
- Used generic captions during training:
- Captions like "beautiful landscape painting" - meaningless for her specific style
- Results looked nothing like Mom's actual work
- Analyzed all 33 paintings to find her real characteristics
- Warm red color palette: RGB (171.6, 169.8, 154.3)
- Light/brighter paintings: Average brightness 165.2
- Garden/landscape focus with consistent warm tones
- 18 targeted captions instead of generic ones:
- "mom_art, warm red color palette"
- "mom_art, bright light paintings"
- "mom_art, garden and landscape focus"
- 15 epochs for deep style learning
- Higher LoRA rank (20) for style complexity
- Color/style-focused targeting modules
- Gradio interface with style controls
- Warmth intensity slider for her characteristic warm tones
- Brightness control targeting her 165.2 average
- Style examples based on her actual work
No more generic results - this specifically learns and replicates her warm, bright, garden-focused artistic style. However, we need more images because 33 samples isn't enough and kaggle can handle larger datasets. I was suprised I got decent results. I'll need to set aside time to photograph more of her work to improve the model further.
Lots of files so go with the ones most recently created. My housekeeping on this project sucks and I need to delete a lot of the older files.
