- Supabase account with a new project
- Clone the repository
- Install dependencies:
npm install - Create a
.envfile in the root directory with your Supabase credentials (use the values provided to you by your team and never commit this file to version control):REACT_APP_SUPABASE_URL=your_supabase_url REACT_APP_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY=your_supabase_anon_key
- Create a new Supabase project
- Enable Email authentication in the Authentication settings.
- Enable Google and Facebook (or other desired) OAuth providers in the Authentication > Providers section. You will need to configure the Client ID and Client Secret for each provider, which you can obtain from the respective developer consoles (Google Cloud Console, Facebook for Developers).
- Open the SQL editor in your Supabase dashboard
- Copy and paste the entire contents of the
migration.sqlfile in this project into the SQL editor - Run the SQL script to create all necessary tables, indexes, triggers, and RLS policies
- All database tables will be created with proper Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access their own data
