Releases: Kim2091/PBRify_Remix
v1.7.2 ComfyUI ONLY
This release is ONLY for use with Nvidia's ComfyUI-RTX-Remix nodes.
These nodes expand the RTX Remix toolkit to allow third party upscaling utilities (such as PBRify), with ComfyUI as the middle-man. This allows for easy upscaling + PBR generation of textures just by selecting a texture in the toolkit, alt-tabbing to ComfyUI, and pressing "Queue Prompt".
To use this version of PBRify, follow these instructions

v1.7.1
PBRify 1.7.1 Update
This update brings a new upscaling model, 4x-PBRify_RPLKSRd_V3. This model is roughly 8x faster than the current DAT2 model, while being higher quality. It produces far more natural detail, resolves lines and edges more smoothly, and cleans up compression artifacts better.
As a result of those improvements, PBR is also much improved. It tends to be clearer with less defined artifacts.
This version is now fully compatible with chaiNNer, so long as you're on the latest nightly build.

Important
The current version of ComfyUI at the time of writing hasn't been updated to the latest spandrel library.
To update ComfyUI to be compatible with the new model:
- Navigate to your ComfyUI installation directory
- go into
python_embedded - Run this command:
.\python.exe -m pip install spandrel --upgrade

v1.7.0
V1.7.0 Update
Download
You need the latest chaiNNer build!
Changelog:
- New upscaling model! This is a drastic improvement over the previous model (which was already a huge improvement). However, it does come with the downside of being more intensive.
- The default chain requires at least 8 GB VRAM to run properly
- I added a custom 6 GB VRAM chain to the new Extras folder for users with lower VRAM GPUs

v1.6.2
V1.6.2 Update

- Adds color fixing for the model. This ensures that all upscales are true to the original texture in color, and that transparency functions properly. You'll see a small performance hit with this change
You need the latest chaiNNer nightly build!

v1.6.1
Do not use this release
It's insanely slow for only a slight benefit in color reproduction
Adds conditional alpha layer checks to the chain. This ensures images with alpha layers are processed properly.
Please note that images that contain alpha layers will take twice as long to upscale!
v1.6.0
Adds a new upscaling model, 4x-PBRify_UpscalerSIR-M_V2.
This has been a long time coming. It's based on a larger architecture called SwinIR. It's far more capable than the older SPAN model, but also comes at the cost of speed. It should still be very reasonable to run however, it's still quite fast 😄
I've also added Wavelet Color Fix to the chain. This should ensure that the color of the new texture is as closely matched to the original as possible.
🚀 As always, if you appreciate my work, please consider donating. Anything helps! 🚀
