I am able to build the site natively (no docker) locally on macOS/macports with the current Gemfile and with the pin of ffi in this PR. I am also able to run the docker command (but that worked for me previously, too). Can anyone else confirm that this patch helps? FYI, I have

I just checked -- I can not run it on x86 mac from ~2015, and can on m1 mac (oh times). |

That's an issue with ruby 2.6. I have an updated Gemfile... give me a sec. EDIT: or maybe not... 2.6 should run on x86 mac (that's what I have) but not M1. |
