LGTM. Do you think we need to provide starting points for OPF based on these values?

Good question. I don't think it would make a big difference in the OPF solution time. I expect the push-away-from-boundary heuristic implemented in MadNLP/Ipopt to be more influential than passing the MATPOWER's initial value to the solver, but I may be wrong. |

The values are specified in the matpower file. This is needed if we want to solve the power flow (as we need an initial setpoint for the generators)
