Version 0.28 of qasync makes use of the QAbstractEventDispatcher returned from QApplication; this class previously was suppressed in the typesystem_core.xml (perhaps because there were compile problems because of abstract methods?).
I didn't observe problems with Qt 6.9.2 though, so let's see what the CI says.
