Note for OS X users: There are two alternative downloads, one for Java 1.6, the other for Java 1.7 and higher. You can use either, but we recommend Java 1.6 for OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) and lower, and Java 1.7+ for OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) and higher.
