Yeah, it seems to have been left untouched for a few years now... I wonder if it would be allowed to make a copy of this and just continue its support/apply pull requests made here, but I'm not very good with licenses
Actually, it seems to be the "do what you want lol" license so this would actually be possible

https://youtube-dl.org/downloads/latest/ and https://yt-dl.org/latest/ both redirect to a DMCA notice on GitHub, and https://youtube-dl.org/downloads/latest/youtube-dl.exe and https://yt-dl.org/latest/youtube-dl.exe both work. What's the difference between the old and the new URL?

@luxidoptera If you're using Windows, the easiest way would be to download https://youtube-dl.org/downloads/latest/youtube-dl.exe and put it in %AppData%\youtube-dlg. You can probably do something similar if you're using Mac or Linux.
