Relevant PRs:

Description

  • Implements fast path to skip driver uninstall when configuration digest matches stored state
  • Compares DRIVER_CONFIG_DIGEST env var with stored digest from /run/nvidia/nvidia-driver.state
  • When digests match, skips driver uninstall and component eviction
  • Performs minimal cleanup of stale artifacts (mounts, PID files) before rescheduling operands
