Setup Guide (English)

1. Requirements

• Streamer.Bot (only tested on the newest version, v1.01)
• A Google Gemini API Key (It's free! Get one here).

2. Installation Files

1. Download the .zip file from the Releases Page.
2. Unzip the file. You will see two items:
   • TranslationBot.dll
   • TranslationBotFiles (Folder)

3. Placing the Files

1. The DLL: Move TranslationBot.dll into your Streamer.Bot \dlls\ folder.
2. The Config: Move the entire TranslationBotFiles folder into the root of your Streamer.Bot folder (the same place Streamer.Bot.exe is).

4. Setting up Streamer.Bot

3. Import the Action codes provided in the Source folder of this repository (or copy-paste them).
4. For every Action you create (!tr, !sl, etc.), make sure to Add Reference to TranslationBot.dll.

5. Setting the API Key

1. Go to your Streamer.Bot Global Variables.
2. Create a variable named geminiApiKey.
3. Paste your Google Gemini Key as the value.

6. Done!

Go to your chat and type: !tr Hello World

If the bot replies, you are good to go!

Configuration Note

You may change top objects in the config JSON (translation_config.json).

• If your stream uses a language other than English, you may set DefaultBotPersona in DefaultSettings to a different language code (ex: pt-normal).

• Right below it you will find ApiLimits where you can adjust the limits to your liking.
