Note that the above equations are the more general form of the equations presented in the [preprint](https://arxiv.org/abs/2302.09924) by Svärd and Kalisch (2023)
including ``\alpha`` and ``\gamma`` terms. The [published version](https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jcp.2024.113516) considers only the case ``\alpha = \gamma = 0``
and ``\beta = 1/3``, which is the default choice of the parameters. In the general case of nonzero ``\alpha`` and ``\gamma``, the equations have a number of
unphysical properties.

Currently, the equations only support a general variable bathymetry, see [`bathymetry_variable`](@ref).

`SvärdKalischEquations1D` is an alias for `SvaerdKalischEquations1D`.
