This pull request introduces several improvements and modernizations to the build, deployment, and configuration processes, as well as some codebase cleanups. The main highlights are updates to the CI pipeline and Docker publishing process to use GitHub Container Registry, simplification of logging dependencies, and minor code cleanups for REST endpoints.
