It appears #570 was abandoned and I have some interest in this functionality so I have had a go at implementing it as well.
Also, I'm not sure I understand the following request from this comment, the linked test appears to check the existence of tags already?Resolves #567
Side note - I noticed the documentation on many data sources is out of date since the addition of the
space_idfield.
