🚀 Major Overhaul & Renaming

Loom is now Spark! The application core has been completely rewritten from scratch to be faster, lighter, and more deeply integrated with the system.

⚡ Performance & Engine Upgrades

• Goodbye JCEF, Hello Native Webview: The heavy Chromium Embedded Framework (JCEF) is gone. It has been replaced by a lightning-fast native Webview engine.
• Massive Size Reduction: Since CEF is no longer required, the application data folder size has plummeted from ~500 MB to nearly zero. The installer is also significantly smaller.
• JavaFX Migration: The entire user interface was rebuilt from the ground up using JavaFX, enabling smooth animations and a modern, responsive dock.

🖥️ OS Support

• Windows First: The Windows version is fully stable, offering a highly optimized and lightweight experience.
• Note on macOS: To maintain high-quality standards, macOS support is temporarily disabled in this release during the adaptation of the new Webview engine. It will return in future updates.

Version specifics

On macOS, the application may may by slightly laggy. This will be fixed in future releases.
The Windows version workds stably, without lags and problems.

Requirements

The application consumes from 100 to 400 MB of RAM and practically does not consume CPU.
The application weighs 99 MB, and the weight of the application data in the folder user.home/.loom on Windows and user.home/Library/Application Support/Loom on macOS is 500 MB. The large weight is due to the fact that CEF is downloaded
