Description

... which is a PHP 5.5+ syntax and can now be used what with support for PHP < 7.2 having been dropped.

Note: the PHP 8.5 deprecation notice will be fixed in a separate PR (once I've been able to locally reproduce it and add a dedicated test to the Tokenizer tests for this).

I've checked the code coverage impact via the Coveralls overview page as they seem to be having trouble reporting back at this moment... (already reported that to them yesterday: lemurheavy/coveralls-public#1819)
