I think we should discuss this overall @Dutervil . I think the overall goal we have is to move away from recording observations on forms to recording orders directly on forms, which would mean that this is not needed.
I would prefer that instead of adding this feature in, we instead focus on changing the forms to use the lab ordering widget that we have just developed and are testing for forms.

Looks like the wrong character encoding is set in your IDE - properties files must be set to UTF-8

This will not be true across all of PIH, so we may need another way to model this, perhaps as global properties
