I'm not sure about the rendering against light backgrounds, but it looks fine otherwise.
Let me know if I 1.) should add a dark background shape (likely dark grey, tinted ever so slightly purple) to give it some contrast, and 2.) whether or not said background shape should be included on the 16x or not.
