MetricsQueryClientis replaced withMetricsClientwhich also requires the Region of the resource.This code takes the approach of having the user supply the necessary details via command line arguments.
The alternative would be to spin up an ArmClient like it does in the platform, which I believe would require the subscription ID as an additional parameter anyway - so might as well just get the region as a parameter.
