GitHub doesn't provide debian based runners: https://docs.github.com/en/actions/using-github-hosted-runners/using-github-hosted-runners/about-github-hosted-runners#standard-github-hosted-runners-for-public-repositories If we want to use debian, I believe we'll need to use a container: https://docs.github.com/en/actions/writing-workflows/choosing-where-your-workflow-runs/running-jobs-in-a-container |
It appears Ubuntu has pulled their 18.04LTS i386 images (and they don't have more recent i386 images), so we need to switch to Debian instead.
