Improve unit testing #20
Description
As it stands, much of the testing is in the form of end-to-end tests by inspection. Standardizing a method to add unit tests and adding them will improve the confidence in the fuse library as a whole. This could also enable code coverage to be tracked on this repo, but that could be separate.
