Or, as Abraham Maslow said, "The great lesson is that the sacred is in the ordinary, that it is to be found in one's daily life, in one's neighbors, friends and family, in one's backyard." This quote encourages us to recognize the beauty, joy, and peace that exists all around us, in the ordinary moments of our lives. This is important because it can remind us to take a step back from our busy lives and appreciate the people, places, and things that make our lives meaningful.
