Problem
posthog/posthog CI started getting module resolution failures after the exports field was added to package.json. Once exports is defined, it becomes a strict allowlist, so any subpath not explicitly listed (like
posthog-js/reactorposthog-js/dist/surveys-preview) becomes unresolvable, even if the files exist on disk.Changes
Added wildcard and explicit export entries to preserve backwards compatibility for all existing consumer import patterns:
./reactexplicit ESM/CJS/types entry for the React subpackage./react/*wildcard for React sub-exports (e.g. posthog-js/react/surveys)./dist/*passthrough wildcard so all posthog-js/dist/ imports continue to resolve./package.jsonsome tooling may need direct access to the package manifestRelease info Sub-libraries affected
