Changes

  • Added new documentation for the posthog-rails library, including:
    • A dedicated guide for Rails error tracking installation (/docs/error-tracking/installation/rails.mdx).
    • A comprehensive Rails library documentation page (/docs/libraries/rails.mdx).
  • Updated existing Ruby SDK and error tracking documentation to reference the new posthog-rails library and its automatic exception capture capabilities.
  • Updated navigation to include Rails under "Frameworks" and "Error Tracking Installation".

solid. I honestly wish more of our server SDKs were like this rails one

I really wish we'd have like, configurable ways to do this for all backend SDKs so Identify would work super easily/reliably

Yeah, it's the goal! It's super easy on Rails because Rails is crazy good, but we'll get there someday!
